The audio transmission of John Glenn is no doubt one of the most amazing proofs that we are not alone in the universe. We can hear his bewilderment when his capsule gets encircled by many strange UFOs.
Although old, this audio file provides a small insight of the conversation between the Mercury-Atlas 6 capsule guided by John Glenn and CAPCOM from 1962. This was the first manned orbital mission of the United States.
The capsule launched from Kennedy Space Center and made a successful three-orbit mission around the Earth. It arrived at a maximum altitude of around 162 statute miles and an orbital speed of 17,500 miles per hour.
Glenn’s Friendship 7 Mercury aircraft docked about 800 miles southeast of KSC in the area of Grand Turk Island.
The mission lasted 4 hours, 55 minutes and 23 seconds.
In the audio transmission, in the capsule known as Friendship 7, Glenn can be heard saying he saw a “brilliant blue horizon” from behind.
